 Structural Project Engineer – Sports & Community-Centered Facilities

Your Role

As a Project Engineer, you will: 

  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to design innovative sports facilities that meet the highest structural and safety standards. 

  • Guide and contribute to the engineering and design of structures for community centers, school sports complexes, collegiate athletic venues, and professional facilities. 

  • Use your expertise to solve complex structural challenges while balancing creativity, budget, and performance requirements. 

  • Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative environment that aligns with Holmes' commitment to learning and growth. 

  • Partner with clients and community members to ensure our projects are functional, sustainable, and impactful. 

  

What We’re Looking For

  • 4–6 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on sports and recreation projects, or similar projects 

  • Experience working with a variety of materials, including steel, concrete, timber, and light gauge steel. 

  • Strong understanding of building codes, seismic and wind design. 

  • Proven ability to guide multiple projects, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver innovative solutions within project constraints 

  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, or similar). 

  • PE license preferred.

Compensation

Base salary: $80,000 - $100,000 + biannual profit share bonus potential.  Salary will be commensurate with experience/skills and location.
