🌟 Ready to take your engineering career to new heights? 🚀

We're seeking a talented Structural Project Engineer with 3-6 years of experience who's passionate about innovative, sustainable design. If you're excited about shaping Seattle's skyline - from mass timber mid-rises to cutting-edge tech campuses - keep reading!

Who We Are We're Holmes US - a structural engineering firm that's anything but boring! With a growing Seattle office and roots in New Zealand, we're known for pushing boundaries on the projects that define the Pacific Northwest. Think mass timber, seismic resilience, and the kind of work that makes other firms ask, "Wait, how did they do that?"

Your Impact

  • Design innovative building structures across multiple materials, with real exposure to mass timber and CLT
  • Apply your expertise in concrete, steel, masonry, and wood on projects from tech campuses to mixed-use residential and community buildings
  • Collaborate with dynamic project teams across our US and New Zealand network
  • Contribute to sustainable and resilient design solutions in one of the country's most seismically active cities

You'll Be A Great Fit If You Have:

  • 3-6 years of structural engineering experience
  • B.S. or M.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • PE license
  • Seismic design experience
  • Strong technical and communication skills
  • Proficiency in ETABS, SAP, RISA
  • A collaborative spirit and problem-solving mindset

💪 Growth & Development - Clear career progression path, mentorship in both directions, regular technical training, and full support for professional licensing.

🎯 The Perks That Count - Flexible hybrid work, comprehensive benefits (yes, including pet insurance), genuine work-life balance, and a team that'll happily debate the best hiking trail as enthusiastically as they debate a seismic load path.
