Structural Engineering Intern

Our internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in structural engineering and work on real-world projects under the guidance of seasoned professionals. As an intern, you will contribute to the success of our projects while developing essential skills for your future career. We do our best to customize your experience around your individual interests while matching the current work in the office. Expect to be given time on active projects, participate in weekly internship workshops geared towards your development, and join in the collaborative environment at Holmes by going on site visits, getting involved in interest groups, and attending Holmes social events.

The duration and timing of the internship are customized on an individual basis, allowing us to accommodate your schedule to the greatest extent possible.

Requirements

Candidates should be pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Civil/Structural engineering. Candidates must be fast learners, ambitious, able to handle increased responsibilities, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to interact effectively with clients, project teams, and colleagues.

Compensation

Base salary: $27-$32/hour depending on office location.  Salary will be commensurate with experience/skills and location.
